Tegate High Fives Tournament
29th April 2007
The KANGAS came third in their section, and, in the playoff, easily beat the other third placed team to come 5th overall.
The ROOS came 7th overall.
Well done both teams and a special thank you to both Sophie’s and Jazmine’s mums who took control of the teams throughout the tournament.
Crosskeys Tournament ‘High Fives’
Sunday 25th March 2007
Eleven teams took part in the tournament,from as far afield as Barking and High Wycombe. Crosskeys fielded a “friendly” team to make up the numbers and this gave our two score-runners a chance to play a couple of games.
Crosskeys ‘Kangas’, the senior team, came third in their section having won their first three games.
The semifinals were Cheshunt v Cheshunt and High Wycombe v High Wycombe, which meant that these two clubs contested the final and High Wycombe won 5-1.
The atmosphere throughout the tournament was very happy and friendly and a good good introduction into tournament netball.
