This time the weather was kind. The Kangaroo’s started well with a strong win and carried on with only one loss. Unfortunately they drew with Tegate, a game they should have won, but this still put them into the semi finals. The semi at the beginning was very close, but they lost 3-6. All enjoyed the day, if a bit tiring after players busy on the day before. Well done, next time we will become 1st

With their new dresses on they made a fantastic sight as they took the court.
This may have effected their play as they won every game in Pool 1.
We lost to Essex Open A in the semi-finals.
All we missed was the Ark in the afternoon, as the rain came, and they all got wet through,
but even that did nothing to deter them from playing some of the best netball I have seen them achieve.
Well done all of you !!!

With a first game, where “The Kangaroos” lost by one goal, on a penalty shot or pass against Turnford at full time, I was worried that their heads would drop. However their spirit showed through and they went on to win the next five games, and drawing the last against Essex Open. Unfortunately they lost by one goal again in the semi-finals against Essex Open A. There was some great netball played, and the weather was good.
